Dear Colleague:

From July 10-15, an exciting opportunity involving dementia research will be available in Hawaii. This summer, Honolulu is the host city for the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference on Alzheimer’s Disease 2010 (ICAD).

This is a unique chance to learn the latest in Alzheimer science – including the research breakthroughs, thoughts and theories that are leading the field. In addition, you can listen to an outstanding panel of plenary and symposia speakers, featuring leading dementia scientists from around the world.  As a student, you’ll receive a significant discount on our registration rates. Registration opens February 8.

ICAD is also an opportunity for you to present your work on a global stage. Submit an abstract for oral and poster presentations, plus a select number of featured research sessions. Abstract opportunities also include the Alzheimer’s Imaging Consortium, a one-day preconference event focusing on the clinical application and methodological development of neuroimaging to Alzheimer’s disease, other dementias and normal brain aging. Abstract submission is open now. The deadline is February 1.

To submit an abstract, visit http://www.alz.org/icad/icad_abstracts.asp.

We hope to see you this summer as we gather to exchange ideas and further the field of Alzheimer research.

Sincerely,

                                                                                                                                                       Cynthia Strohschein
